Nylube is a type of cast nylon containing a combined liquid/solid lubricant system giving it an extremely low coefficient of friction- one of the lowest of any plastic material. Its outstanding wear resistance means that Nylube lends itself to many applications where this may be important, such as dry running bearing applications.
